Support, calendar, and the answers to the questions patients most often ask about Gojaro.
Use Gojaro one time a week, on the same day each week. Choose a day that fits your routine — Monday works for many people.
Inject into your thigh, abdomen (at least 5 cm from the belly button), or ask another person to inject into the back of your upper arm. Change the site each week within the same area.
Take the Gojaro vial out of the refrigerator. Check the label and appearance — clear, colourless to slightly yellow. Do not use if cloudy, discoloured, or containing particles.
Wash your hands with soap and water. Wipe the rubber stopper of the vial, and the injection site, with an alcohol pad; let each dry.
Follow the seven steps in the How to Use guide, or the bilingual leaflet supplied with your vial.
Put your used vial, syringe, and needles in a sharps disposal container right away. Do not put loose needles in household trash.
If you see blood at the injection site, press lightly with gauze or a cotton ball. Do not rub the injection site.
Mark the date, dose, and site in the medicine calendar included in your leaflet. This helps you rotate sites and track your treatment.
Tirzepatide — a once-weekly subcutaneous injection, supplied in single-dose vials in six dose strengths.
